Basketball Drills Competitive Ballhandling

I hope this video gets you thinking about ways to make your ballhandling drills more competitive.

I think it is important to finds ways t make your ballhandling drills competitive by using some type of scoring system.

I like to have a standard for players to compete against as opposed to competing against each other.

I have posted some links to some other skill development drills below the video. Some of the drills are team drills and others are individual workout drills.

This drill is perfect for all those times in games where you dribble around 2 cones really fast and unguarded while another person dribbles back and forth between two different cones…

Thanks for your input. I don’t believe that all drills have to be game like. I believe that some drills are designed to develop skills can then be applied in game situations. I don’t present the drills to suggest that every program should do every drill, but to present ideas that you can improve on. Sounds like you can probably make this drill a lot better for your kids which is a great thing. Thanks again, Brian
